Factory is an enterprise software company building an agent-native development platform that automates the software lifecycle with autonomous systems it calls Droids—covering planning, coding, testing, deployment and documentation inside existing IDE, CLI and CI/CD workflows. Founded in 2023 by CEO Matan Grinberg and CTO Eno Reyes, Factory positions a single governed software factory rather than a pile of standalone coding agents, with model routing, Agent Effectiveness metrics and deployments spanning cloud, on-premises and air-gapped environments. Named enterprise users include Nvidia, Blackstone, Royal Bank of Canada, Palo Alto Networks, Adobe and T-Mobile. In September 2026 Factory raised $200 million at a $5 billion valuation from Blackstone, Khosla Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Insight Partners, Evantic Capital, Sound Ventures, NEA, Mantis VC and Clearlake, bringing total funding to more than $400 million to scale research, product and global go-to-market.
