Chiral (Chiral Nano AG) is a Swiss deeptech company developing robotic systems and processes for wafer-scale integration of nanomaterials such as carbon nanotubes and graphene into next-generation semiconductor and quantum devices. Founded in 2023 as an ETH Zurich and Empa spin-off and led by CEO Seoho Jung, Chiral addresses the manufacturing bottleneck that has kept nanomaterial breakthroughs stuck in academic labs: the lack of scalable, precise, contamination-free placement onto silicon wafers. Its robotic nanomaterial integration platform uses automation, high-precision engineering and AI to move from single-device experiments to industrial deployment. In February 2026 Chiral closed a $12 million seed round led by Crane Venture Partners, with Quantonation, HCVC, Founderful and Innosuisse participating, to strengthen automation and deploy first commercial systems at customer sites.
