About Boost

Boost (Boost Holdings / MyBoost) is Axiata’s Malaysia- and Indonesia-focused fintech group spanning e-wallet payments, merchant services, financing, and Boost Bank—a digital bank JV owned 60% by Boost Holdings and 40% by RHB Bank that began serving the public in June 2024 after winning one of Malaysia’s five digital banking licences. The consumer app supports cashless merchant payments, reloads, and rewards across a large merchant network, while the group expands embedded financing. Prior shareholders included Axiata (~77.76%), Great Eastern Digital (~19.90%), and Mitsui (~2.34%). On 31 July 2026 IFC agreed to invest US$20 million via preference shares at a reported ~US$340 million post-money valuation, joining as a shareholder alongside existing strategics.
