Bio&Me is a UK-based food brand founded in 2019 by Dr. Megan Rossi, a dietitian and scientist with a PhD in gut health, and CEO Jon Walsh. Dr. Rossi, a research fellow at King's College London, established the company to bridge the gap between scientific research on gut health and accessible consumer food products. Her background includes extensive research into nutrition-based therapies like prebiotics and probiotics, which forms the scientific foundation of the company's product development.

The company operates on a hybrid direct-to-consumer and retail model, selling its products through its own website and major UK supermarkets, including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, and Asda. The business targets health-conscious consumers, offering a range of products designed to support digestive health. Its core product lines include granolas, porridges, mueslis, and live kefir yoghurts. A key feature of these products is the diversity of plant-based ingredients, with cereals containing up to 15 types of plants and yoghurts featuring 18 different live and active cultures. The products are formulated with no added sugar and contain prebiotics like chicory root fibre, carrying the EFSA-approved 'Good for your gut' health claim.

Bio&Me has demonstrated significant growth, with its retail sales reaching £7 million by late 2022 and £14 million in 2024. The company has successfully raised capital to fuel its expansion, securing £1.4 million in a 2022 funding round that included England footballer Harry Kane as an investor. Another funding round in late 2022 raised £1.6 million, with a majority coming from existing investors like lead investor Giles Brook. In 2022, Bio&Me achieved B Corp certification, recognized for its social and environmental performance.
