Thoma Bravo majority stake in USU Product at ~€200–300M / ~$220M+ (ann. Oct 2024; closed Dec 2024)

Thoma Bravo acquired a majority stake in USU Product (IT management software carve-out from USU Software AG), announced early October 2024 and completed 4 December 2024. USU Software retained a minority stake of about 25%. Official Thoma Bravo / PR Newswire releases left the exact price undisclosed.

Press / people familiar (Bloomberg) put the new entity’s valuation at about €200–300M (~$220–$330M at then FX); Dealroom’s ACQUISITION valuation field is filled at $220M (≈ lower end of that range). Treat $220M as approximate / reported, aligned to the €200M floor — not an audited purchase-price filing.

USU Product continues under existing management (Benjamin Strehl as CEO), with Thoma Bravo supporting geographic expansion and product development — the firm’s second Germany software deal after EQS Group.
