Cyera in talks for $800M round at $20B, nearly double its summer price

What's the deal? Cyera is in talks to raise about $800 million in a round led by Cyberstarts at a $20 billion valuation, according to The Information. The Israeli data-security startup declined to comment, and reports note the round remains preliminary.

What does it do? Cyera builds AI-powered data protection, mapping where sensitive records sit across cloud storage, databases, and email, then flagging exposure. It has been extending that engine to control what AI agents can access.

Why now? The proposed valuation would nearly double the $12 billion Cyera reached in a $600 million Series G led by Evolution Equity PartnersDealroom has a profile for this one. Cyera's price has climbed from $3 billion in 2024 to $6 billion in 2025 and $12 billion in 2026.

What's the endgame? Cyera has also closed its roughly $1 billion acquisition of Oasis Security, extending its reach into AI-agent identity and access control. A $20 billion price would put it among Israel's most valuable private cybersecurity companies as Israeli startups raise $11.4B in Q1-Q3 2026 and sit on track for $15.2B for the year (Dealroom Israel annual funding).
