Share India to absorb Ace Alpha Tech in all-share merger

What's the deal? Share India SecuritiesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → will merge Ace Alpha TechDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → into its business, with Ace Alpha shareholders receiving 863 Share India shares for every 1,000 they hold. Both boards approved the all-share scheme on November 6, 2026. No cash changes hands and the deal value was not disclosed.

What's the endgame? Share India, a technology-driven financial services firm, wants to fold Ace Alpha's automated-trading and software capabilities into its capital markets platform. When the scheme takes effect, Ace Alpha will be dissolved without being wound up, and its shareholders become Share India shareholders.

The companies: Ace Alpha, incorporated in 2012, builds customised trading solutions and algorithmic trading technology. It is far smaller than its acquirer: Ace Alpha reported net worth of US$11.1M at September 30, 2026, against Share India's consolidated US$378.7M.

By the numbers: Ace Alpha posted strong first-half FY27 growth, with revenue up about 120% year on year to US$2.69M and net profit up about 52% to US$1.64M. Share India grew more moderately, with second-quarter revenue up 11.3% and net profit up 10%.

What could go wrong? The merger is not complete. It still needs approvals from members, creditors, stock exchanges, regulators, and the National Company Law Tribunal, and no completion date has been disclosed.

The signal: The share issuance would lift Share India's count by roughly 6.7% and nudge its public holding from 52.34% to 54.04%. For investors, the exchange ratio and execution matter — this is a bet on integrating trading technology into a larger brokerage platform.
