Engage Group buys Enqore for US$8.46M in Nordic Microsoft land grab

What's the deal? Engage GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has agreed to acquire Enqore AB, a Microsoft-focused consultancy, from listed parent CombinedX for US$8.46M in cash, on a debt- and cash-free basis. The deal brings Engage roughly 75 consultants and adds depth in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Data & Analytics, Integration, and Change Management. Completion is planned for December 1, 2026.

What's the endgame? Standout CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →-backed Engage wants to be the Nordics' leading Microsoft Business Applications partner. Enqore extends its Customer Engagement business and adds capacity for larger, end-to-end projects—including work around Microsoft Fabric and AI.

Why now? CombinedX put Enqore up for sale as part of a strategic review launched in August. The irony: Enqore was only formed in January, from two CombinedX subsidiaries, making this a swift portfolio reshuffle rather than a long-held exit.

The sale is expected to hand CombinedX US$8.46M in surplus cash, the use of which its board will decide within the review. "A perfect match for both companies and a good deal for our shareholders," said CombinedX chief executive officer Jörgen Qwist (translated from Swedish).

What's the price tell us? Enqore expects 2026 revenue of about US$12.1M and adjusted EBITA of US$846.2K. Against those numbers, US$8.46M looks strategically significant but hardly a bargain on earnings.

The signal: The deal fits a run of Nordic IT groups buying specialist Microsoft capabilities: Kinra acquired Gothenburg-based Update Affärssystem in September, and AderianDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → added CRM consultancy Birdie Cloud in March. As clients push toward integrated Dynamics 365, Fabric, and AI deployments, scale and breadth are becoming the price of staying competitive.
