OnePoint BFG adds $240M team, opens West Palm Beach office
What's the deal? OnePoint BFG Wealth Partners has acquired advisor David Siegel and his team, who bring roughly $240 million in assets under management and about 230 client households. The move establishes a new OnePoint BFG office in West Palm Beach, Florida. Terms were undisclosed.
Who's involved? Siegel, a 17-year industry veteran, leads a team that includes Christopher Ballerano, Devin Kooi, and Serena Craven. The group serves senior executives, business owners, entrepreneurs, and sales and real estate professionals, focusing on wealth builders managing business growth and taxes.
What changes for clients? Siegel's clients gain access to OnePoint BFG's tax-efficient strategies, estate planning solutions, and operational infrastructure. The Parsippany, New Jersey-based firm — formerly Bleakley Financial GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → — manages more than $18 billion in advisory assets as of June 30, 2026.
What's the endgame? OnePoint BFG is building out its Florida footprint. The deal follows its September addition of Tampa-based Bast Financial Group, which brought about $400 million in assets. "Their work with executives, entrepreneurs and growing families complements our planning-led approach," said chief executive officer Andy Schwartz.
Why the move? "The right transition had to make as much sense for my clients as it did for my team and me," Siegel said, citing the firm's culture and client focus. The partnership gives his team a larger platform while preserving existing client relationships.
The signal: The deal is modest by industry standards but marks a continued regional buildout. It fits a broader consolidation trend: although third-quarter registered investment advisor deal volume fell 17% year over year, consolidators accounted for 53% of deals through September, with year-to-date activity still slightly ahead of 2025's record pace.
