Try Dealroom → (GCP). The sale completed on October 31, 2026, with terms undisclosed.

What changes for customers? GCP's clients will move to the Seedling platform over the coming weeks, each assigned a named Seedling carbon specialist. Co-founders Eoin McQuone and Stephanie Lee will stay involved through the handover to keep ongoing projects running without disruption.

What's the endgame? Seedling serves more than 500 scaling and mid-market businesses, helping them measure, reduce, and report full-scope emissions through software paired with one-to-one support. The deal expands its customer base and strengthens its UK and international position.

Why now? Co-founder Blair said the acquisition strengthens Seedling's ability to support businesses "as demand for credible carbon data keeps rising." GCP, which has operated for six years, is now steering its founders toward consultancy and training for large enterprises.

The signal: The purchase targets a crowded market for corporate emissions reporting, where regulatory and supply-chain demands push providers to build scale and offer ongoing expert support. With terms undisclosed, the deal reads as a focused expansion rather than large-scale consolidation.
