Datacenter.eu launches €70K AI accelerator, backs Easylab AI first
What's the deal? Luxembourg-based infrastructure provider Datacenter.eu has launched a cross-border AI Accelerator for startups in Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany and France. Selected companies can receive €35,000 in cash and €35,000 in infrastructure and AI services, in exchange for a minority stake. Easylab AIDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Luxembourg autonomous-agent lab founded in 2023, is the first company supported.
What's on offer? Beyond the cash and infrastructure, startups get curated introductions to Datacenter.eu's network of more than 5,300 business customers, plus a sales force, communications support and events. In return, Datacenter.eu becomes each company's preferred infrastructure partner.
What's the endgame? The model is built around minority investment, designed to support growth without taking control. Its wider aim is to help startups build sovereign AI products that keep infrastructure, data and value creation in Luxembourg and Europe.
Why Easylab? Founded by Julien Doussot and Philippe Hougardy, Easylab AI develops autonomous agents for regulated sectors including finance, legal, insurance and accounting. It has delivered more than 30 projects and is building products including Easycore and LuxHive.
In their words: "Building a product is no longer the biggest challenge. Selling it is," said Loïc Didelot, chief executive officer of Datacenter.eu. Joining the programme "gives us the infrastructure and the reach to take that from Luxembourg to the wider European market," said Doussot.
The signal: Luxembourg's AI scene is expanding fast, with LuxinnovationDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → counting 263 AI-related startups by mid-2026 and the national AI Factory supporting more than 150 companies. Datacenter.eu's accelerator is a small, commercially oriented complement to that public infrastructure — and an early test of whether local firms can win customers beyond Luxembourg.
