Neya Systems wins $3.3M US Navy contract for autonomous construction equipment
What's the deal? Neya SystemsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Pittsburgh-based provider of off-road autonomy and mission-orchestration software, was awarded a $3.3 million contract on 26 October 2026 to deliver an Autonomous Construction Equipment (ACE) Kit to the US Naval Construction Force (NCF). The ACE solution will enable autonomous repair of airfield and port damage and naval base construction missions. The award was made through the National Advanced Mobility Consortium.
Why it matters: Neya's autonomy stack is moving from tactical vehicle programmes into military construction and engineering roles, where autonomous operation reduces exposure of Seabee personnel in contested environments. The win extends Neya's US Navy footprint alongside its Army and Marine Corps autonomy work.
