Juritas raises €1.4M pre-seed to track value lost after contracts are signed

Try Dealroom → has raised €1.4 million in a pre-seed round led by Passion Capital, with participation from BlackwoodDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and the byFounders Angel Collective. Irish founder and chief executive officer Michelle Cotter is the company's sole founder.
What's the endgame? Juritas builds software to help businesses track what happens after a contract is signed. Teams can ask whether a supplier's volume discount has been triggered, and the platform answers by citing the relevant clause and flagging the action required before a deadline passes.
The startup is starting with supplier contracts, helping procurement and finance teams check commitments and recover value that could otherwise go unclaimed. World Commerce & Contracting estimates that organisations measuring contract value erosion lose almost 9% of contract value on average.
Why now? Cotter previously held leadership roles at legal AI company Legora, Revolut, and Epidemic Sound. The company says advances in AI now make it possible to continuously monitor commitments across all of a business's agreements — a task that once required manual work few could justify.
"I've sat across the table from some of the world's largest organisations, and I've seen the same pattern every time: teams negotiate hard, sign, and move on," said Cotter. "Yet everything they need to know is already theirs, written into their own contracts."
Where the money goes: Juritas will use the funding to grow its engineering team in Stockholm, accelerate product development, and build the enterprise-grade security and infrastructure large customers require.
The signal: The raise is small beside the capital flooding Swedish legaltech — Stockholm's Legora pulled €42 million in a Series D extension in April 2026, and Malmö's Lightbringer secured €8.6 million in June. Juritas is an early-stage entry in a busy sector, and its significance will hinge less on this round than on its product and its ability to win customers.
