What does the company do? enorna is an mRNA CRDMO built around lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery technology. It offers end-to-end services for mRNA vaccines and drugs — from sequence design to commercial-scale production — covering plasmids, RNA drug substance, LNP and tLNP formulation, filling, and freeze-drying.
What's the money for? enorna plans to upgrade its LNP delivery platform, expand GMP manufacturing capacity, and grow its overseas business. The company says it has delivered more than 150 batches of GMP-grade samples.
Why now? Capital in the sector is shifting beyond mRNA production toward delivery technology and clinical translation. MagicRNA closed a B round worth hundreds of millions of CNY in 2026 to advance an in vivo CAR-T LNP platform, while Suzhou's Starna Therapeutics raised a $40 million B+ round in May for mRNA and tissue-targeted delivery.
The signal: This round funds a service provider expanding its research-to-GMP capabilities, not a single drug pipeline. Its payoff depends on whether enorna can turn disclosed client partnerships and deliveries into steady orders, clinical projects, and overseas revenue.
