What happened: HRV Pharma (HRV Global Life Sciences)Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company, announced on 3 November 2026 that it has signed definitive agreements to acquire 100% of Phatebo GmbH, a licensed pharmaceutical wholesaler in Germany specialising in clinical trial supply. Phatebo reported revenue of roughly US$47.5M in 2025. Financial terms were not disclosed; Phatebo is being sold by ZeroStack Corp.
Why it matters: The acquisition moves HRV beyond supplying active pharmaceutical ingredients into finished formulations, and gives it a licensed, operating pharmaceutical business in Germany — a foothold in the European market. For a virtual (asset-light) pharma company, buying a regulated EU wholesaler is a fast route to scale in clinical-trial logistics and finished-dose manufacturing.
