PropHub raises undisclosed early-stage round led by Merchant Seven
What's the deal? PropHubDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a São Paulo-based technology provider to brokers, proprietary trading firms, and crypto platforms, has closed an early-stage venture round led by Merchant Seven (M7) and a group of private investors. The company did not disclose the amount or valuation. Funds will expand its product suite, build out go-to-market functions, and accelerate international adoption.
What's the endgame? PropHub replaces the multi-vendor patchwork brokers typically stitch together — front ends, CRM, back office, risk tooling, payments, and reporting — with one modular stack, all exposed through unified REST and WebSocket APIs. Operators can start with a single toolset or commission a full turnkey build.
The platform spans three verticals: white-label brokerage infrastructure; an operating system for prop firms covering onboarding, KYC, automated payouts, and fraud detection; and decentralised crypto exchange infrastructure on HyperliquidDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and other venues, spanning perpetuals, spot, tokenised real-world assets, and prediction markets.
Why now? M7 backs the deal partly to address a hiring crunch. "It has never been harder to hire world-class talent in trading technology, and that gap holds back too many great young companies," said Pierce Crosby, founder and managing partner at Merchant Seven.
Through M7's Harbor programme, PropHub gains capital plus forward-deployed engineers — senior operators who embed inside portfolio companies on strategy, sales, marketing, and market data. The support is meant to help PropHub build distribution partnerships and expand beyond Latin America.
PropHub's founders — chief executive officer Gabriel Kassouf, chief product officer Felipe Vella, and chief technology officer Rafael Viveiros — each spent over a decade running trading operations. "We spent years on the operator side of the business, and we know how much time and capital goes into technology that should simply work," Kassouf said.
The signal: The round fits a broader push to fund API-led brokerage infrastructure; AlpacaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → raised $135 million in July to expand its brokerage rails. PropHub targets a different layer — a composable stack across traditional and on-chain markets — but with no disclosed amount or valuation, this reads as a strategic growth move rather than a sector-defining financing.
