What's the deal? Total Specific Solutions (TSS)Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired Swedish proptech company Twinfinity from engineering consultancy SwecoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. The deal, announced in November 2026, moves a specialist software business from an engineering group to a software-focused owner. Terms were not disclosed.

What does Twinfinity do? It develops a cloud-based platform that builds digital twins of buildings, linking 3D models with operational, business, and climate data. The aim is to help property owners collect, structure, and keep building information accessible.

Why now? Twinfinity has roots dating back to 2001 within Sweco, which spun it out as a wholly owned subsidiary in 2022 to accelerate product development and sales. With that standalone identity established, the company now moves to an owner with deeper software experience.

What changes for customers? Nothing immediate. Twinfinity says it will keep its brand, team, products, and contact channels, and will continue to run independently.

What's the endgame? Chief executive officer Anders Malmström said he looks forward to continuing work on "an AI-ready platform for property information," where a shared data foundation can feed other systems and AI services.

Who is the buyer? TSS is an international software group that owns and develops specialist software companies for the long term. It spans more than 200 companies across 35 countries and sits within the same ecosystem as Canada's Constellation Software.

The signal: The acquisition fits TSS's established buy-and-hold strategy, which has included proptech company PlacewiseDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → in 2025 and a steady run of specialist software businesses across Europe. For Twinfinity, a software-focused owner may support more independent growth than an engineering consultancy could — though no price or specific expansion plans were disclosed.
