What's the deal? Hoxton Wealth has secured $135 million from private equity firm Aspirity PartnersDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, which led the round. It's the first external funding for the London- and Dubai-based wealth manager, which primarily serves Britons living abroad.
What's the endgame? The money will fund international expansion, recruitment, and strategic acquisitions, the firm said. Hoxton serves more than 10,000 clients from offices across the UK, Middle East, South East Asia, Europe, North America, and Australia.
Founded by chief executive officer Chris Ball in 2018, the firm has topped $5 billion in assets under management, adding more than $2 billion since May 2025. "Over the last two years or so, we have been on a disciplined growth journey," Ball said.
Why now? The deal lands amid a surge in Britons moving abroad. Wealthy individuals have left following the abolition of non-domiciled tax status, while younger workers chase better job prospects overseas.
