Danish wellness startup Aioss raises $1.12M seed with Kesi, Medina backing

What's the deal? AiossDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Danish supplement startup, has raised US$1.1M (≈$1.12 million) in a seed round backed by rapper Kesi, pop singer Medina, psychologist Sarah Zobel, and cyclist Johan Price-Pejtersen. The company sells an all-in-one powder containing vitamins, minerals, fibre, and probiotics that users mix with cold water.

Who else is in? The cap table also includes Weco, the family office of Johan Wedell-Wedellsborg, plus Henrik Lottrup, Ulrik Trolle, Casper BlomDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and nutrition expert Ninni Kjær. Founded in 2024 by Jesper Wahlberg and Theodor Barington, Aioss makes its product in Sweden.

What's the endgame? The celebrity names are meant to lift brand awareness and build distribution. The company says it is preparing a placebo-controlled study of its product.

Why the modest expectations? Co-founder Wahlberg is clear the product is not a cure-all. "Aioss does not replace a varied diet, and it does not solve everything. But it can be a good place to start," he said (translated from Danish).

What could go wrong? Aioss sells a consumer supplement, not a clinically tested longevity therapy. Its health claims remain unproven until study results arrive, and celebrity backers do more for marketing than medicine.

The signal: The round sits around the 30th percentile by size, modest for a sector whose headline totals are dominated by a few large biotech deals. Aioss is best read as a consumer-wellness raise leaning on famous names, not evidence of a Danish longevity breakthrough.
