PowerUp Money raises $10M at $73M valuation to expand AI-led wealth management

What's the deal? Indian wealthtech firm PowerUp Money has raised $10 million in an early-stage round led by Flourish VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, valuing the company at $73 million. Existing investors Peak XV Partners, Accel, Blume Ventures, Kae CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, 8i VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and DeVC also joined.

What's the endgame? PowerUp wants to expand its AI-led wealth management offerings and bring personalised investment advisory to more investors, founder and chief executive officer Prateek Jindal told The Economic Times . The firm is pushing beyond mutual-fund advice toward managed wealth and broader financial planning.

By the numbers: Founded in 2024 by Jindal, who previously cofounded Uni Cards, PowerUp has more than 1.5 million customers tracking portfolios worth over US$34B. The $10 million deal ranks in the top quartile of comparable rounds by size.

Why now? The round follows a $12 million Series A led by Peak XV in December 2025 — a second sizeable raise in quick succession. It lands amid a strong Indian retail-investing tailwind: monthly mutual-fund SIP contributions reached a record US$4.41B in September 2026, with SIP accounts up about 12% year on year.

What could go wrong? PowerUp's reach is clear, but the key test is converting free engagement into paid advisory and managed assets. It competes in a crowded wealthtech market against established incumbents.

The signal: Investors are betting that India's record retail-investing boom will reward platforms that move from passive portfolio tracking to active, AI-led advice. PowerUp's rapid-fire raises suggest the race to monetise that shift is already heating up.
