LO:TECH raises $12M Series A to build 24/7 trading infrastructure

What's the deal? Low Observable Technology (LO:TECH)Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised $12 million in a Series A round led by MMC to expand into the US and Asia-Pacific. The London-based capital markets firm builds trading infrastructure that runs across traditional, digital, and prediction markets with round-the-clock access.

Who's backing it? MMC led the round, with returning investors FactionDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and 13books CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → joining alongside AtkaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. The capital will fund geographic expansion and grow execution services for institutional clients.

What's the endgame? LO:TECH designed its infrastructure for 24/7, onchain, multi-asset markets, aiming to supply liquidity and execution for both digital assets and tokenised traditional assets. "We built ours from scratch for markets that run 24/7, onchain and across every asset class," said chief executive officer and co-founder Tim Meggs.

Where's it expanding? The firm plans to enter New York and Singapore while broadening its services across traditional, digital, and prediction markets. It also intends to pursue regulatory status where it operates and is exploring licences in the US.

Why now? Ollie Ricards, partner at MMC, said the business delivered triple-digit revenue growth over the past year despite difficult crypto market conditions. He framed the investment as part of MMC's interest in blockchain-based financial infrastructure and tokenised real-world assets.

The signal: The raise is a step up from LO:TECH's $5 million seed round in August 2025, and it lands as tokenised assets gain ground. On public blockchains, tokenised real-world assets nearly doubled from about $20.6 billion to $38 billion in the year to June 2026, even as overall crypto market capitalisation fell roughly 50%. That divergence is the gap LO:TECH is betting its infrastructure can bridge.
