MediaLabs raises 8-figure Series A for its TikTok Shop creator network

Try Dealroom →, a Miami-based social commerce and user-generated content affiliate agency, has raised a Series A round from an international marketplace company at what it calls an eight-figure valuation. The company connects brands with a managed network of more than 3,000 TikTok Shop creators.
What's the endgame? MediaLabs runs TikTok Shop as a revenue channel for brands, covering shop management, affiliate campaigns, paid advertising, and live commerce. It recruits, trains, and maintains its own creator community rather than sourcing talent per campaign.
Where the money goes: The funding will fund expansion across social commerce and managed services for brands on TikTok Shop. MediaLabs also plans to deepen its use of AI for creator-brand matching, performance analysis, and creative production.
By the numbers: MediaLabs estimates roughly 700 connected creators generate about $10 million in monthly gross merchandise value, with the broader network producing more. SEDLAK, a blue-light glasses brand its founders launched in May 2024 as a creator-led test, has sold more than 18,000 units through TikTok Shop.

TikTok Shop's growth is driving the interest. One caveat: MediaLabs' announcement cites an eight-figure valuation, not an eight-figure raise, and its network figures come from a company release — so the terms and scale merit cautious reading.
