Settle lands up to $100M forward-flow deal with crypto lender 3Jane

What's the deal? Settle, a provider of inventory financing for consumer and e-commerce brands, has secured a forward-flow agreement with structured credit platform 3JaneDealroom has a profile for this one. The facility starts at $50 million, with an option to expand to $100 million. 3Jane has already purchased $18 million of Settle's existing loans and will buy eligible new loans going forward.

What's the endgame? Settle pays suppliers upfront so brands can buy inventory before they sell it, then collects repayment through extended terms or installments. Selling those loans to 3Jane frees up capital for new originations, expanding lending capacity.

How it works: 3Jane funds fintech lenders through a revolving, tranched conduit built on blockchain rails, using stablecoin liquidity. The structure aims to deliver the economics of private securitisation without each originator building a costly standalone program.

"The forward flow with 3Jane gives us a more capital-efficient way to finance that gap at scale," said Alek Koenig, chief executive officer and founder of Settle.

By the numbers: Settle has originated more than $4 billion to thousands of US brands. It is backed by Ribbit Capital, Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, and Citi VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. The signal: The deal reflects a wider push toward institutional funding for specialist e-commerce lenders — Wayflyer struck a three-year, $1.5 billion forward-flow agreement with Fortress in July. The size here ranks in the top tier of US marketing-sector debt rounds, underscoring appetite for working-capital lending to inventory-heavy businesses. What it does not show is how much capital Settle will ultimately draw, or on what terms.
