Try Dealroom → also joined the round.

What does TrashLab do? Its platform connects dispatch, billing, CRM, and routing in one system for independent haulers. The pitch: replace decades-old legacy tools with software built for an essential, round-the-clock business.

The product angle: Central to the raise is Haul-E, TrashLab's AI agent, which answers calls, takes orders, dispatches routes, and surfaces field insights. The company says the round will bring more of those automation capabilities into the platform sooner.

What's the money for? TrashLab plans to expand its implementation, support, and customer success teams as it onboards customers through technology changes. "This round lets us go much further, much faster," co-founders Neil Chaudhary and John Tan wrote.

Why now? The deal lands amid a broader funding push into software for independent haulers. Hauler Hero raised $16 million in a Series A earlier this year, and CurbWaste raised a $28 million Series B in October 2025.

The signal: Investors are warming to a large, traditionally under-digitised market, though TrashLab's raise sits around the 64th percentile by size — a solid round rather than a standout one. The competitive edge now hinges on which platform best layers AI onto the back office of an industry that keeps the physical world running.
