Numerix buys Suite LLC to deepen rates and credit analytics
What's the deal? NumerixDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a capital markets quantitative analytics provider, has acquired Suite LLC, maker of the ALib analytics library for derivatives and fixed income pricing. Terms were not disclosed. The deal was announced October 29, 2026.
What each side brings: Suite, founded in 2001, built ALib over more than two decades for use in institutional production environments. The library covers derivatives pricing, bond valuation, curve generation, scenario analysis, stress testing, and risk management across rates, foreign exchange, credit, and equities.
What's the endgame? The acquisition expands Numerix's capabilities across fixed income, rates and credit curve construction, derivatives valuation, and risk management. Curve construction is a particular strength of ALib, which traces its origins to analytics developed at J.P. Morgan and later Cygnifi.
Why now? The deal follows Numerix's earlier purchases of FINCAD, PolyPathsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and KynexDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, broadening its reach across derivatives, structured finance, and enterprise risk. It has also extended its platform through integration, folding MSCI mortgage and loan models into PolyPaths.
"Suite brings deep expertise in rates and credit analytics, with a strong reputation among leading financial institutions," said Manny Conti, chief executive officer of Numerix.
What changes for customers? Existing Suite clients can expect continuity in products, services, and support during integration. Numerix and the Suite team will spend the coming months shaping long-term product strategy and bringing ALib into the wider Numerix ecosystem.
The signal: The deal reflects a broader capital-markets technology push toward unified analytics and risk coverage — a strategy echoed by Trading Technologies' recent purchase of TRAFiX. With no price disclosed, its significance is mainly strategic and incremental: it deepens Numerix's toolkit rather than reshaping the market.
