SiB Solutions raises $2.01M as US contracted revenue doubles
What's the deal? SiB Solutions, a Lund-based startup developing AI-driven video analysis for logistics, has raised 20 million kronor (roughly $2.01 million) in a late-stage round from new and existing shareholders, led by its largest owner, Scania Growth CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. What does it do? The company's systems monitor goods as they are handled in warehouses and flag when something is mishandled. The cash will fund further growth.
Why now? SiB has doubled its contracted annual recurring revenue (CARR) in the US so far this year. More than half of its revenue now comes from outside the Nordics, with average CARR growth of 30% to 40%, chief executive officer and co-founder Stefan Borg told Rapidus.
The numbers: The US doubling builds on 2024 gains of 40% in contracted recurring revenue and 25% in revenue per site, with the business reported in March 2025 to be approaching cash-flow break-even. Borg says SiB could be profitable today if it eased its growth targets, but aims for profitability in 2027 instead.
What's the endgame? "Right from the start, the plan was to become a leading global player in our niche," Borg said. "We have invested heavily in building a structure that can handle strong growth, and now we will invest even more to accelerate further."
What could go wrong? SiB has not disclosed its absolute revenue base or deal count, so the doubling alone is hard to gauge. The challenge is turning US contract wins into sustained recurring revenue and profitability.
The signal: The round sits at the smaller end of warehouse-automation financing — a reminder that much larger cheques are flowing into AI-driven warehouse visibility, such as Gather AI's $40 million Series B. For SiB, concrete US traction, rather than funding size, is the story investors are backing.
