Ex-Mango executives' AI startup Artiso raises €3M to build fashion's operating system

What's the deal? Artiso, a Barcelona-based startup building an operating system for fashion teams, has raised more than €3 million in a pre-seed round. Criteria Venture Tech, part of CriteriaCaixaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →'s technology investment arm, led the round, with Swanlaab Venture FactoryDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Bynd Venture CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → participating.

The round also drew angel backing from David Tomás, co-founder of CyberclickDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and Nicolaj Reffstrup, founder and former chief executive officer of Ganni, through his vehicle Look Up VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →.

What's the endgame? Founded in 2025 by former Mango executives Sarah Iglesias, Lucas Pastur, and Matthias Brenninkmeijer, Artiso integrates the digital tools fashion teams use — from product lifecycle management systems to design software. Its platform uses agentic AI to connect workflows and centralise knowledge from past campaigns and collections.

What's it promise? Artiso says its platform can cut product development time by up to 70%, make concept-to-campaign processes five times faster, and reduce the cost of producing commercial visual assets by up to 90%.

The capital will fund platform development and hiring. After roughly a year of operations, Artiso says it works with mid-sized brands and large fashion groups across Europe, North America, and Asia, with the US a key market.

"For years, I led creative teams that had to orchestrate every step of a collection using tools that didn't communicate with one another," said Iglesias, Artiso's chief executive officer. "So we built the operating system we had always needed."

The signal: The round sits within a broader push to apply AI across fashion operations, not just marketing imagery — Spanish peer ModeliaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → raised €1.03 million in June for visual production. Artiso's bet on agentic AI across design, development, and pre-production could set it apart. The real test will be adoption and measurable time savings at brands, not the funding itself.
