What does the company do? Ideable Works turns underused walls in stations, hotels, offices, and commercial facilities into digital galleries where artists can show and sell work. It also runs a subscription service that places digital frames in shops, care homes, and medical sites, streaming high-resolution art playlists.

Who's backing it? The round drew LightUp Ventures, Kyoto Capital PartnersDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, Mitsubishi UFJ CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. What's the endgame? Chief executive officer Daishu Teramoto wants to build what the company calls "the world's largest base for digital art and expression." The new money funds three priorities: expanding gallery sites, including overseas; developing a proprietary digital frame; and building an in-house content management system to run large-scale art distribution.

What's the model? Rather than straight online sales, Ideable Works links an artist's need for exposure with a venue's interest in adding value to idle space. Its pitch is vertical integration — hardware, software, and content under one roof.

The signal: At roughly $1.14 million, this is a modest Series A — it sits around the 25th percentile for round size and does not by itself point to a booming market. The test will be how far adoption, recurring revenue, and payouts to participating artists can scale.
