What's the endgame? Founded in 2025 by ex-slice executive Pradeep Ayyagari, QwikBuild builds enterprise software and AI agents that cut development and deployment time. Its platform lets businesses build applications from scratch or add custom layers on top of tools from SAP and Salesforce. It claims to serve more than 100 enterprises across India, Southeast Asia, the US, and Dubai.

Where's the money going? The capital will fund go-to-market work, including a new US team and wider operations across Southeast Asia.

Why Japan? QwikBuild is forming a joint venture with Globalway to enter Japan's enterprise software market. Expected to launch by the end of 2026, the venture will take its platform to Globalway's existing and prospective customers there.

By the numbers: The round sits at the 31.8th percentile for deal size—below most comparable rounds. QwikBuild's $2.3 million is modest next to recent enterprise-AI raises: India's RapidCanvas pulled in $29 million, while Singapore's OneByZeroDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → secured $20 million to expand across Asia.

The signal: Investors are backing startups that help businesses run AI in live workflows—not just pilots—by combining software, integration, and governance. "Hardly 1% of enterprises have adopted AI," Ayyagari said, calling it "a huge market that needs to be unlocked." For an early-stage bet, the proof will be whether QwikBuild's claimed reach turns into repeatable deployments and revenue.
