Mortgage lenders Integrity and HAF merge to bring underwriting in house

What's the deal? Integrity Home Lending and Home Access Financial (HAF) have merged, effective October 5, 2026, to handle the full mortgage process in house, from application through closing. Financial terms were not disclosed. The combined company operates under HAF's name for new applications.

Why now? Integrity sought delegated underwriting authority, which lets a lender approve loans internally rather than wait on an outside investor's review. Through the merger, its loan officers now work under HAF's delegated, in-house underwriting, which the company said can support closings in as few as 10 days.

What's the endgame? Each firm brings complementary pieces: HAF, founded in 2016 in Tampa, Florida, adds underwriting and a marketing team that produces video and social content; Integrity, founded in 2023 in Cumming, Georgia, is licensed in 14 states. The combined company plans to expand its loan officer team.

By the numbers: Integrity reported a 28.7% increase in funded loan volume from January through September 2026 versus the same period in 2025, based on internal data. As of October 26, Integrity held a 4.98 rating on LendingTree from 566 reviews, and HAF held a 4.98 rating on Zillow from 157 reviews.

"Bringing the process in house was the final piece," said Robert Eagar, managing partner. "It gives our loan officers the speed, tools and support to grow their business, even in a challenging market."

Loans already in process with Integrity will close as scheduled. Since October 16, new applications have been taken by HAF.

The signal: This is a small-scale capability deal, not a market-moving one. It fits a mortgage industry increasingly focused on scale and operating efficiency, echoed in larger combinations such as Synergy One LendingDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → with American Pacific Mortgage and CMGDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →'s planned purchase of Northpointe's retail channels. With no terms or combined production figures disclosed, the significance here is operational rather than structural.
