Omnichat raises $10M Series A to scale AI commerce agents
What's the deal? Omnichat, a Hong Kong-based AI-native marketing and customer experience platform, has raised $10 million in a Series A led by Openspace CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. The company will use the funds to scale its agentic AI platform, deepen R&D on its Omni AI Agents, and expand globally.
What's the endgame? Omnichat wants to move from conversational commerce to AI-driven commerce. Its Omni AI Agents handle marketing, sales, and service inside the chat itself — building customer segments, recommending products, closing orders, and resolving enquiries around the clock across WhatsApp, LINE, Instagram, WeChat, KakaoTalk, TikTok, and Facebook Messenger.
Why now? Brands have adopted the agents quickly. OmniClaw, an AI business analyst launched in June, reached around 300 brands within two months, while the number of brands using the Marketing Agent tripled over the same period.
Unlike shared-inbox tools that only aggregate chats, Omnichat unifies marketing, sales, and service on a single customer profile and attributes revenue back to the conversation — including purchases completed in physical stores. "This Series A marks an important step as we transition from conversational commerce to AI-driven commerce," said Alan Chan, founder and chief executive officer. "Enterprises can deploy agents that sell, market, and support customers around the clock."
What could go wrong? The raise is a growth bet, but its significance will depend on whether Omnichat can show reliable sales and service outcomes across markets — not simply add AI features. Traditional messaging tools still lean on heavy human intervention, and Omnichat uses human-in-the-loop supervision for key decisions.
The signal: The round reflects a broader APAC push to fund enterprise AI agents. Singapore's Level3AI raised $13 million in seed in February, and OneByZero secured $20 million in October to deploy enterprise AI regionally. The money is moving from chatbot pilots toward agents embedded in live business workflows — with Omnichat betting on a messaging-commerce niche.
