INFIFORCE raises $15M from Zhejiang state fund for embodied AI

What's the deal? Chinese embodied-intelligence startup INFIFORCE has raised US$13.8M from Zhejiang Provincial Venture Capital Group (ZVC). The investment was led by ZVC's Shen Qianyang.

What's the company building? INFIFORCE develops an "embodied brain" called AtomBrain, aiming to build a new intelligence base for the physical AI era. It works across first-person native data, full-stack AI infrastructure, and implicit world models to power robots and real-world applications.

What's the money for? The company says the funds will go toward embodied models, world models, AI infrastructure, and robot mass production and scenario validation. It has disclosed cumulative orders exceeding US$68.8M.

Why now? The round follows the company's August disclosure of nearly US$137.5M in combined A and A+ financing, led by Dunhong Asset and state-backed platforms with existing shareholders participating. The fresh capital signals investors are continuing to back its embodied-intelligence roadmap.

What could go wrong? Order figures and benchmark results are self-reported by the company. Whether they convert into sustained delivery and revenue remains to be seen.

The signal: Funding in China's embodied AI sector stays active but is concentrating in a few high-profile names — recent deals include roughly US$137.5M for Astribot, nearly US$137.5M across two rounds for Fair Innovation, and over $900 million for XPeng Robotics. Commercialisation metrics, more than raw round size, are becoming the real test of which players lead.
