What's the deal? The Partner CompaniesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (TPC), a global manufacturer, has acquired F&B MFGDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Phoenix-based specialty metal manufacturer founded in 1923. The deal, announced October 26, 2026, adds hydroforming and precision metal forming capabilities for aerospace and defense customers. Terms were not disclosed.

What's the endgame? F&B MFG runs a vertically integrated operation from an approximately 100,000-square-foot Phoenix facility, employing more than 200 people. Its core expertise is hydroforming, which uses pressurised fluid to shape metal into complex geometries with tight tolerances, extending into engineering, tooling, heat treating, welding, machining and assembly.

The company produces engine and auxiliary power unit components for defense and commercial aircraft, from helicopters and fighter jets to passenger planes. It holds four Nadcap certifications and recently expanded machining for the electronics sector.

Why now? The acquisition gives TPC a presence in Phoenix, which it called "one of the nation's fastest-growing advanced manufacturing regions." Sustained investment across aerospace, defense and advanced technology continues to fuel that growth.

"F&B MFG adds a unique combination of manufacturing capabilities, led by its hydroforming expertise, along with the technical depth and customer relationships that make it a strong fit for TPC," said Christian Streu, partner and chief financial officer of TPC.

Alex Newell, president of F&B MFG, said joining TPC "gives us additional resources to invest in our more than 200 employees and continue to build on the legacy that has defined this business for more than 100 years."

Founded in 2010, TPC now includes 12 specialty manufacturers across the US, UK, Mexico and Asia. Duane Morris advised TPC, while Snell & WilmerDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → advised F&B MFG.

The signal: The deal fits a recent pattern of manufacturing platforms adding specialised capabilities to serve aerospace and defense supply chains. In October, Fathom Digital Manufacturing announced three acquisitions spanning precision machining and finishing, while ATL PartnersDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → launched an aerospace-and-defense platform by buying precision-forming specialist Precise Metal Products — a sign that consolidation around niche fabrication skills is accelerating.
