What's the deal? EpochDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a London supply chain startup, has closed a seed round backed by two specialist impact investors: Burnt Island VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Sand River VC. Both existing backers increased their stakes, with one taking a board seat, and a family office joined the round.

What's the endgame? Epoch traces raw materials back to their source, giving companies visibility into the first mile of their supply chains. "We are approaching profitability," co-founder and chief executive officer Jinal Surti told Impact Loop.

Why now? The company is preparing to expand to the US, a move the fresh capital supports. Christine Boyle is a partner at Burnt Island Ventures and Greg Robson a partner at Sand River VC, the two firms anchoring the round.

The signal: Investor interest in first-mile supply-chain visibility is building. In June 2025, Treefera raised a $30 million Series B to expand its platform for tracing commodities back to their origins, pointing to a wider appetite for tools that reveal where materials actually come from.
