Pediatric therapy software maker Ambiki raises fresh equity from Green Hills Partners

What's the deal? Nashville-based AmbikiDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has secured an additional equity investment from existing backer Green Hills Partners, the pediatric therapy software company announced on October 23. The late-stage round deepens an eight-year partnership between the two firms; the amount was not disclosed.

What does Ambiki do? It sells integrated electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management software to pediatric speech-language, occupational, and physical therapy practices across the US. Its platform links patient intake, scheduling, clinical documentation, teletherapy, insurance billing, and financial operations.

What's the money for? Ambiki will accelerate work on its EMR and practice management platform and expand its services. Priorities include Reconsil, its patent-pending automated double-entry ledger system; managed billing; data migration and implementation support; and Tenalog, an AI-powered session documentation tool.

What's the endgame? Founder Kevin Dias frames Ambiki as more than a vendor. "We combine powerful technology with a team that understands the challenges of running and growing a therapy practice," he said, describing a "Software + Team" model that guides practices through implementation and growth.

Why Green Hills? The private family investment platform, also based in Nashville, has backed Ambiki for eight years. "We are especially looking forward to assisting Ambiki in accelerating its efforts to support pediatric SLPs, OTs, PTs, and pediatric therapy practices," said co-founder and chief executive officer David Hanson.

The signal: The raise fits a wider wave of investment in technology-enabled pediatric therapy. In February, in-home provider Coral Care raised $13 million to enter new US markets, and school-based Thrive Therapies later raised $7.7 million to expand its clinical platform. Ambiki's undisclosed sum makes direct comparison hard, but its focus on billing, implementation, and AI documentation points to a push to deepen its software-and-services offering rather than a headline land grab.
