Saudi event-tech startup INVE raises $300K to expand beyond weddings

What's the deal? INVE, a Riyadh-based event-tech startup, has raised $300,000 in pre-seed funding led by Outliers Venture CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. The company will use the capital to grow its business platform and extend its consumer product from weddings into other occasions. It plans to expand across Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

What's the endgame? Founder and chief executive officer Abdulrahman Alabdulkarim built INVE's first version in 2024 to manage invitations for his sister's wedding. "Our vision is for INVE to become the infrastructure behind how people and businesses host across the Gulf," he said. The consumer product has since supported 250 events across more than 60 cities and towns, sending over 35,000 invitations with an 88% RSVP response rate.

Why now? INVE launched its business platform in August 2026, targeting companies that use events to engage clients and partners. It lets hosts manage guest information, personalise invitations, and handle registrations through branded pages and digital entry passes, retaining guest records for future events.

What's the endgame? Before investing, Outliers became INVE's first paying business design partner, using the platform under its own brand for its upcoming Builder Summit. That gives the startup an early example of business use alongside its consumer traction.

What's next? The funding will go toward INVE's team, brand, and customer acquisition. Immediate priorities are Saudi Arabia and the GCC; longer-term, it aims to build a business customer base in North Africa, other African markets, and Europe.

The signal: The round is small, but it marks a Saudi entry into a region where event infrastructure is drawing investor interest. Egypt-based KNOT TechnologiesDealroom has a profile for this one.
