Persolvent adds principal architect as it builds out childcare software Enovie
What's the deal? PersolventDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has hired veteran software architect Ven Nakarikanti as principal architect for Enovie, its software brand serving school-age childcare and community education programs. He joins the company's development team to lead architecture initiatives supporting the platform.
Who is he? Nakarikanti brings more than 20 years of experience in software architecture, enterprise application development, and technology consulting. His background includes building cloud-based, multi-tenant SaaS platforms and integrating AI, automation, and modern cloud technologies.
What's Enovie? The St. Paul, Minnesota-based company launched Enovie in July 2026 as a platform to unify enrollment, payments, reporting, and community engagement for childcare and education programs. It draws on Persolvent's more than 20 years developing payment and software tools for schools and community programs.
Why now? The hire extends a build-out already underway. In September, Persolvent named Janeen Vogelaar chief marketing officer; in October, it brought back longtime technologist Ralph Busby to help lead software development.
What they're saying: "Building great software starts with having the right people and the right technical foundation," said Vince Arnoldi, president of Persolvent and Enovie. He said Nakarikanti brings "tremendous depth in software architecture, AI and emerging technology."
The signal: Established software providers are competing to broaden offerings in a fragmented childcare market — ProcareDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → acquired Playground in September, and DaxkoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → bought AlarisDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → to add childcare-management tools. Persolvent is building rather than buying, though a single senior hire is not, by itself, evidence of major market traction.
