Amsterdam's Indurex raises €7M to secure cyber-physical systems
What's the deal? IndurexDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, an Amsterdam-based startup building an AI-native platform for cyber-physical systems (CPS) security, has raised €7 million in an early-stage round. Contrarian VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → led, with Axeleo CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Dutch firm Curiosity joining.
Why now? The round comes less than nine months after Indurex left stealth in January 2026. It also lands as attacks on industrial systems climb: a SANS Institute survey found more than one in five industrial organisations hit an ICS or OT cyber incident in the past year, with 40% of those disrupting operations.
What's the endgame? Indurex sells SafeGuard AI, a platform that pulls data from control systems, safety instruments, historians, and IT security tools, then uses AI agents to flag anomalies. The goal is to link cybersecurity alerts to the physical process behind them — something, the company says, conventional OT security misses.
Founders Jalal Bouhdada and Maarten Oosterink are longtime operators in OT, process safety, and cybersecurity. Early customers range from mid-sized energy and manufacturing firms to large multinationals across oil and gas, utilities, and data centres.
What they said: "Cybersecurity and operational excellence have too often been managed as separate disciplines — Engineering Intelligence is the missing layer, and this funding allows us to bring that capability to more operators across critical infrastructure," said Bouhdada, co-founder and chief executive officer.
Indurex will spend the capital on research and development and on expanding across Europe and the Middle East, ahead of later moves into the US and Asia-Pacific.
The signal: The round sits in the 81st percentile by size for its stage, a solid but not outsized raise. It reflects steady investor appetite for industrial and operational-technology security, where early specialists and scaled vendors alike — from Italy's Mon5Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → to US-based Dragos — are drawing fresh capital.
