Reduck raises $3M to speed up web automation for AI agents

What's the deal? French-American startup ReduckDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised $3 million in a pre-seed round led by Daphni, with participation from Drysdale VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Galion.exeDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. The company builds technology that lets AI agents interact with websites and automate tasks without relying on traditional APIs.

Why now? Many websites and internal business tools lack APIs or Model Context Protocol (MCP) interfaces that let agents operate them directly. Agents instead fall back on browser clicks and typing, which can be slow, costly, and unreliable on complex tasks.

What's the endgame? Reduck's platform, Reduck MCP, lets agents discover, run, and create reusable browser automation scripts. Rather than navigating a site step by step, agents call predefined scripts — which the company says makes them three times faster and cheaper on tasks such as downloading invoices or researching on LinkedIn.

Its library already holds more than 1,200 ready-to-run scripts covering over 250 websites. Reduck is now building a system of AI agents that create and maintain these scripts autonomously, and is preparing a developer offering for teams to connect custom agents to applications without APIs — including insurance and healthcare portals.

The round is a modest one, landing in roughly the 36th percentile for deal size. The money has funded hiring across AI engineering, full-stack development, and infrastructure. It was founded by Daniel Huynh (chief executive officer), Louis Abraham (chief technology officer), and Raphaël Millet (chief operating officer).

What could go wrong? Reduck enters a field with better-funded rivals, including Browserbase, which raised a $40 million Series B, and PolarDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, which raised $5.7 million for browser-based workplace automation. Its differentiation and traction remain unproven.

The signal: Investor money is flowing toward infrastructure that makes AI agents reliable on the open web, especially where no API exists. Reduck's narrower pitch — reusable scripts to cut the cost and latency of relearning a site — is a bet on where that market is heading.
