What's the deal? DJH Mitten ClarkeDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a private equity-backed accountancy and professional services group based in Stoke-on-Trent, has acquired Surrey's TWPDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → in its largest deal to date. The terms were undisclosed. TWP adds £7m in annual revenue and 70 staff across four offices in Cranleigh, Guildford, Kingston-upon-Thames, and Weybridge.

What's the endgame? The acquisition extends DJH's presence across the South East, complementing existing offices in Bexley, Maidstone, and Trowbridge. "Surrey has been a target region for us for some time, and this partnership gives us four offices and an immediate, well-established presence right across the area," said James Beardmore, chief operating officer at DJH.

What changes? Managing partner Paul Hawksley continues to lead the TWP team alongside partners Andrew Goddon and Phil Munk. Clients gain access to wider specialist services, including capital allowances and R&D, commercial funding, corporate finance, and IT consultancy.

Why now? The deal caps a rapid buy-and-build programme under backer Tenzing. DJH bought LoucasDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → in April and Thorne Widgery in July, bringing it to 22 strategic acquisitions in five years and four earlier deals in 2026 alone.

"Joining DJH is an incredibly exciting step for TWP," Hawksley said. "This partnership lets us protect everything they value about working with us, while opening up a much wider range of specialist expertise."

The signal: The UK accountancy market is consolidating fast, and TWP fits an established pattern rather than a new direction.
