To train and validate its model, Estimation AI is also asking contractors and builders to share anonymised blueprints, offering early access and founding-partner recognition in return.

Estimation AI has not disclosed a completed pilot, commercial deployment, or independent performance data, and its site lists Version 1.0 as forthcoming. A January letter of intent with Kulu Windows and Doors proposed a Q1 pilot targeting a 50% cut in manual estimating time — a goal, not a reported result.
The signal: AI-based estimating is drawing money and competition — XBuild raised $19 million in January, and established takeoff vendors are adding automation. Estimation AI's bet is focus: a narrow window-and-door workflow in a crowded field. The proof point will be whether that specialisation delivers measurable accuracy and time savings in real use.
