Nuclear and energy funds back cryogenics maker Ziming in new round

What's the deal? Zhejiang Ziming Cryogenic TechnologyDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a maker of hydrogen valves and cryogenic refrigeration equipment, has closed a new funding round, announced in October 2026. Backers include CNNC Science and Technology Innovation Fund, part of China National Nuclear CorporationDealroom has a profile for this one. Who else joined? Chengdu Ceyuan Capital, Changjinkong, and Hangzhou Guze Fund also participated. The amount and valuation were not disclosed.

What's the endgame? Ziming says the money will go to research and development and to expand production capacity. The company holds core cryogenic refrigeration technology, and says its refrigerators offer high control precision, "zero leakage," low heat loss, and high reliability for hydrogen and advanced energy equipment.

Why now? The round lands as China's fusion supply chain draws capital and pushes to speed up engineering build-out. Cryogenic and superconducting cooling gear sit upstream of such facilities, making it a target for investors.

What could go wrong? Ziming disclosed no round size, orders, or customer progress. At this stage, the deal reads more as a supply-chain positioning signal than a proven commercial breakthrough.

The signal: Money is flowing to domestic high-end cryogenic equipment — peer Zhongke Fuhai raised US$137.5M in June. Ziming's draw is its spread across fusion and semiconductors, plus backing from state energy-linked funds.
