What does the company do? Founded in 1950, Harley Haddow specialises in mechanical, electrical, civil, structural and fire engineering, plus building performance and sustainability. More than 80% of its live projects carry a decarbonisation or net zero focus, including the BAFTA headquarters and V&A in London, SWG3 in Glasgow, and the Botanic Gardens glasshouses in Edinburgh.
Why now? The firm has opened three English offices in the past four years, acquired specialist consultancy Pillar Fire, and grown its team to nearly 200 people. The BGF deal backs the next phase of that expansion.
