Vitalls lands $1.5M seed for its cross-border health passport
What's the deal? UAE healthtech startup VitallsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has secured a $1.5 million seed investment from Singapore-based EST Growmore, the investment arm of EST GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, with an option for a further $1 million. The agreement, signed at the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit, makes EST Growmore the anchor investor in the round.
What's the endgame? Founded in 2023 by Mehdi Bouchenak, Vitalls builds an AI-powered digital health passport that lets individuals and families securely store, manage, and share their medical records across providers and countries. The company targets internationally mobile people, families, and enterprises whose records stay scattered across clinics and borders.
The capital will fund the development and rollout of that passport. Beyond money, the two companies will explore distribution, product development, and partnerships across EST Group's telecommunications and healthcare portfolio.
Why it matters: "Patient-owned health records are no longer a niche idea. They are where healthcare is going," said Bouchenak, founder and chief executive officer of Vitalls.
By the numbers: The deal is a modest early-stage cheque in a GCC healthtech market that remains largely seed-stage.
It is smaller than recent UAE comparables, including TruDocDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →'s $15 million Pre-Series B in March 2026 and Nabta HealthDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →'s ongoing $3 million pre-Series A.
The signal: The round is one more sign of investor activity in regional healthtech rather than a step change in funding scale. The twist here is the backer: a Singapore telecom and healthcare group betting on patient-owned records as the next shape of digital health.
