Neolix raises $400M Series E, China's biggest robovan round this year

Why now? The raise is the biggest this year in China's autonomous-delivery sector, a market where capital is concentrating in a handful of leaders. Chinese autonomous-delivery firms raised nearly US$1.38B in 2025, and rival Zelos reportedly raised more than $300 million in February.
What's the endgame? Neolix will use the money to fuel global expansion. The round brings its total capital raised to more than $1.4 billion; it did not disclose a valuation.
By the numbers: The $400 million round sits in the 96th percentile of Series E deals in Chinese transportation over the trailing 48 months, based on a sample of 121 rounds. That places it near the top of the sector's recent fundraising.
What could go wrong? Heavy investment does not guarantee a profitable business. The open question is whether fleet growth and logistics partnerships can turn capital into sustainable commercial operations.
The signal: Alibaba's logistics arm CainiaoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → agreed in January to invest in robovan maker Zelos and merge it with its autonomous-driving unit, a deal reported to value the combined business at about $2 billion. The Neolix round shows investors are still fuelling the scale-up race — and that Alibaba is spreading its bets across China's driverless-delivery field.
