DELTA Group buys majority stake in Vienna engineering firm Katzkow & Partner
What's the deal? DELTA GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired a majority stake in Katzkow & Partner, a Vienna-based civil engineering consultancy, the company announced in October 2026. Terms were not disclosed. Katzkow brings years of experience across Austria and international markets.
What's the endgame? The deal expands DELTA's services in geotechnical engineering and strengthens its structural engineering and construction supervision offering. DELTA frames the move as a way to deliver complex construction projects "from a single source" in Austria and abroad.
What changes? Katzkow & Partner will keep operating under its own brand. Alexander Katzkow stays on as managing director and shareholder, overseeing the firm's integration into the DELTA Group.
"With the DELTA Group, we have a partner at our side who shares our values, our commitment to quality and our international perspective on projects," Katzkow said (translated from German).
DELTA's Wolfgang Gomernik said the firm gains "a highly qualified team with extensive experience in geotechnical engineering, structural engineering and local construction supervision."
The signal: By folding a specialist consultancy into its wider construction services, DELTA is betting that integrated, multi-disciplinary delivery is what wins demanding national and international projects — while keeping the acquired brand and client relationships intact.
