Manergy buys Normandy's DIMOé to expand its energy transition offering

What's the deal? French engineering and consulting firm ManergyDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired DIMOé, a Normandy-based company, for an undisclosed sum. The deal, announced in October 2026, marks Manergy's first acquisition this year.

Who's who? Manergy, based in Créteil, Val-de-Marne, has worked in the energy transition since 1983 and supports 1,500 private and public stakeholders each year. DIMOé, founded in 2017 and based in Cherbourg, Le Havre, and Rouen, posted €1.5 million in revenue with around 15 employees.

Why now? Rising gas and electricity prices are pushing public bodies and industrial companies to control costs, green their consumption, and adapt buildings to heatwaves. "We have seen an acceleration since 2022, with real economic challenges for local authorities and competitiveness issues for industrial companies," says chief executive officer Benjamin Brullon. What's the endgame? With €55 million in revenue last year, Manergy wants to diversify its offering and grow across France and Europe. The acquisition helps it enter new sectors and move toward operating at a European scale.

The signal: As energy costs squeeze industry and the public sector, consolidation among specialist advisers is helping larger players broaden their services and geographic reach.
