Yinshi Precision raises $14.9M to build brake-by-wire production line

What's the deal? Tianjin Yinshi Precision Technology has raised US$13.8M in a Series A extension, with Beijing Shunyi Industrial Investment Fund as sole investor. The round was announced in October 2026.

What does the company do? Yinshi develops integrated brake-by-wire systems for vehicles. Its core product, a hydraulic integrated brake-by-wire system known as HIB, or One-box, targets heavy-load applications that demand high integration across brake-by-wire and chassis electronics.

What's the money for? The company plans to expand its team and build a mass-production line. It says its brake-by-wire products have entered the supplier systems of more than 11 automakers and secured several design wins.

Why now? China's brake-by-wire market is shifting from research and validation toward volume delivery. Industry data cited in a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing puts the market at US$4.44B in 2025, up from US$852.5M in 2020, with One-box designs spreading fast on integration and cost advantages.

What's the endgame? The funding is aimed at paving the way for mass production of Yinshi's heavy-load One-box system. The key test is whether it can deliver on the production line and convert design wins into shipments.

What could go wrong? The bar is rising. Chassis supplier BIBODealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has delivered more than 150,000 One-box units and holds orders for over 1.5 million, according to Gasgoo — a reminder that Yinshi's challenge is less about technology than about scaling and winning customers.

The signal: In a market growing this fast, raising capital is no longer the hard part. For Yinshi, the round matters mainly as fuel for execution — and the sector increasingly rewards those who can ship at volume, not just those who can build.
