Nassau Street Partners arranges $1.5M debt deal for a healthcare firm

What's the deal? Nassau Street Partners, a New York-based middle-market corporate advisory firm, has arranged a $1.5 million debt financing facility for an undisclosed US healthcare and wellness company. The facility provides working capital to support operations and commercial expansion.

The details: The transaction closed in 2025 and was announced in October 2026. The identities of the borrower and lender remain confidential, and terms including interest rate, maturity, and repayment structure were not disclosed.

Nassau Street acted as corporate advisor, assessing the company's capital needs, identifying lenders, and structuring the arrangement. The borrower develops consumer products focused on physical well-being, mobility, and everyday health.

Why debt? Unlike equity, debt financing lets companies raise funds without giving up ownership, though it adds repayment obligations. For wellness businesses, working capital matters as they expand distribution, build inventory, and fund manufacturing.

"Not every capital requirement needs to be addressed through an equity raise," a Nassau Street representative said. "In this case, the objective was to identify a financing solution aligned with the company's working capital needs while supporting its broader commercial strategy."

The signal: The deal shows how specialist credit providers — private credit funds, family offices, and alternative lenders — serve smaller companies whose needs fall outside conventional bank criteria. It is a modest working-capital facility rather than evidence of a broader market shift.
