Revolve takes minority stake in activewear brand 437 in ~$11M deal

What's the deal? Revolve Group has invested US$11M (roughly $11 million) for a minority stake in 437, a Toronto-based activewear brand, the e-commerce company said.

What does 437 do? Founded in 2016 by co-chief executive officers Adrien Bettio and Hyla Nayeri, the brand launched as a swimwear label before moving fully into activewear in 2023. Its pieces — designed for Pilates, yoga, strength training, and everyday wear — retail for upward of $160.

Why now? The deal marks 437's 10th anniversary this year. It comes as Revolve deepens its presence in activewear, where demand for fashion-driven workout apparel keeps growing.

What's the endgame? For 437, the partnership offers a way to scale while leveraging Revolve's reach in digitally driven fashion retail. "Revolve understands how our customer dresses and lives, and this partnership lets us bring 437 to more women without compromising the brand we've built," Bettio said.

The signal: The investment fits a broader Revolve push into fashion partnerships. Last week, Donatella Versace revealed she will launch a new fashion and beauty business as chief creative officer under a joint venture with the company, starting with beauty products.
